Our Practice
Welcome to Greenwich Health
Greenwich Health is a team of leading specialists within their fields of interventional pain management, sports medicine, minimally invasive spine treatments, superficial venous medicine, regenerative and cosmetic medicine, and plastic surgery, who are trained at some of the top institutions and are dedicated to providing the highest standards and quality of care in Manhattan, the Greater New York City communities, and Fairfield County including Darien, Greenwich, Westport, and New Canaan.
The multi-disciplinary team includes compassionate and deeply caring physicians whose priority are placing patient care first. They aim to provide excellent communication, listen to your needs, fully understand your history and prior work-up by your referring physicians and specialists, and understand the root of the relevant clinical etiologies. Greenwich Health’s approach incorporates cutting-edge, non-opioid-based and proven treatments to ensure the highest outcomes and progress towards a healthier lifestyle while minimizing unnecessary procedures or surgeries.
Founder and Medical Director Julie Huang-Lionnet, MD, is an eminent, double board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management physician, who also has leading expertise in venous medicine, regenerative, and cosmetic medicine. Dr. Huang-Lionnet has a distinguished career history as an alumnus of Harvard Medical School in Boston and the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Dr. Huang-Lionnet isn’t the kind of doctor whose focus is on her own achievements; her vision is to provide the most effective and personalized treatments for patients at Greenwich Health using state-of-the-art technology and evidence-based approaches to restore healthy function, reduce pain, and improve quality of life without dependency on medications.
There are four branches of specialty medicine available at Greenwich Health. The first is interventional pain management, providing effective solutions for people with acute and chronic pain, including sports injuries, chronic headaches, post-surgical pain, and leg pain from venous insufficiency. The second specialty is regenerative and restorative medicine, which uses the most advanced biological techniques to restore function and reduce soft tissue injuries and associated symptoms.
The third specialty is venous medicine, which encompasses treatment of superficial venous insufficiency conditions, including the development of spider and varicose veins, to overcome any associated symptoms of leg swelling, cramps, skin changes, and restless leg syndrome.
The fourth specialty is cosmetic medicine and plastic surgery, providing medically supervised treatments that can boost patients’ self-esteem and help them feel confident enough to achieve their goals in life. Bringing his unique expertise from Manhattan, nationally distinguished, Harvard-trained plastic surgeon Richard Reish, MD, FACS, works in collaboration with Dr. Huang-Lionnet at Greenwich Health.
The physicians at Greenwich Health aim to provide exceptional service for a range of conditions that may not respond to standard treatments. At Greenwich Health, your well being and health comes first, and our practice is committed to finding solutions that genuinely help every patient, no matter how challenging their condition.
